The Story Behind Rocket Pizza 🚀🍕
Rocket Pizza started long before there was a pizza trailer.
Growing up, Travis was surrounded by great food. His father, Ed, brought influences from Mexican, Japanese, Filipino, Puerto Rican, Cajun, and classic American cooking to the family table.
That passion carried forward. Travis built a career in the culinary world, including serving as chef and owner of Brik on York, a Denver pizzeria, before continuing his journey as a private chef.
Over the years, father-and-son gatherings became a chance for Travis and Ed to cook together, share ideas, and create memories around great food and wine. They often talked about someday combining their experience and passion into something they could share with others.
Then one day, Ed began texting Travis about starting a food truck together—just as Travis called him with the exact same idea.
And Rocket Pizza was born.
Today, Rocket Pizza brings together two generations, decades of culinary passion, and real pizzeria experience—all centered around handcrafted pizza and bringing people together.
Family inspired. Chef driven. Handcrafted.
